Special Note for Women
Pregnant women should not practice any twists or abdominal tightening poses, and should consult with their doctor before beginning any exercise or yoga program. During their Moon Cycle, women should not practice inverted poses, back bends or exercises involving vigorous movements.

Barefoot Instructors do not provide hands on assisting.
If you have an injury please bring this to the instructor’s attention.
If students are disruptive or disrespectful in any way the instructor has the right to protect the highest interest in the class and of each student.
Instructors will not force any student into a situation or pose that makes them uncomfortable.
It is very common to experience emotional release in the practice of yoga. You are encouraged to feel what you need to feel. Please feel free to contact the studio owner with issues that need to be kept confidential.
At this time, our studio does not offer children’s yoga. Thanks for understanding.
Barefoot Yoga is practiced in a room with the temperature at 80 – 90 degrees and humidity around 20%.
Our room is heated in most of our classes from 80-95 degrees.
Please practice silence in the studio prior to class start.
We have mats available to use. Please wipe them down after your practice.
The front door to the studio locks 5 minutes before published class start time. This is to ensure each student’s safety, limit disruptions, as well as providing a serene, meditative environment.
WEEKLY CLASS RESERVATIONS
If you reserve your class online your reserved spot will be held up to 5 minutes before class time begins. If you miss the class you booked you may use the credit towards another class within 30 days of the original booking
Drop-In Class – All sales final. No refunds. If you do not attend the class you will be dropped from the class roster and the drop in will be credited to your account so you can use it at a later date. The Drop-In Class will be held as an account credit for 30 days then it will expire.
PRIVATE LESSON POLICIES
All private lessons must be canceled at least 24 hour prior to your appointment or you will be charged 50% of the cost of your private lesson.
A valid credit card should be on file at the time of scheduling a private lesson.

Payment is rendered at the time of service. We cannot accept post-dated checks.
If you would like to receive email receipts and updates please make sure a valid email address is on file. You can update your profile online to change payment or email information. If an email address is changed, we want to know so we can keep you informed. In addition to updating the online system, please email Barefootyoga@barefootelementswellness.comor verbally communicate a change of email address to the studio owner to ensure our system holds the correct contact information for you.
REFUNDS & TRANSFERS
All class offerings are non-refundable and non-transferable. We do not refund for partially attended classes.
AUTO-RENEWS PACK PRICES
Automatic renewal each month unless a 30-day written notice for discontinuation is emailed to Barefootyoga@barefootelementswellness.com. There will be a $20 late fee charged if your credit card declines unless an alternate form of payment is provided within 5 days of the original notice of declination/rejection of payment.
Drop-In Classes/Additional Classes purchased online have a 30-day expiration.
FREEZING, HOLDING, OR TRANSFERRING CLASSES
We do not freeze, hold, or transfer. Please keep this in mind as you decide what options works best for you.
Workshops are nonrefundable. The only exception is a 48 hour written notice so that we may fill the spot because mat spaces are limited and available by reservation only. Thanks for understanding.
GIFT CARD POLICIES
All gift cards are final sale. No refunds or transfers to other students are available for this option. We do NOT have plastic gift cards in the studio as we like to be as environmentally friendly as possible.Please contact us directly to purchase a gift card.
